Experimentation with scissors

Phoenix decided to experiment a bit with scissors yesterday.

Before the head shaving, but after the scissors

After the head shaving! It's going to be a cold November!

Halloween & Maverick turns ONE and WALKS!

Halloween was fun! Phoenix was a red Power Ranger and Maverick was a honey pot (bees and all!) We went trick-or-treating at Gram's & Pa's house then to the parade in Rutland. The parade was a lot of fun and lasted more than 1 1/2 hours!

MAVERICK'S BIRTHDAY!
Maverick's birthday was on Thursday. We had his birthday party last weekend. It was a lot of fun! It's hard to believe a year has gone by!

Maverick stuffs his cake in his mouth--after grabbing a corner of the cake (can you believe it!)

This is a video of Maverick off and walking!

Pumpkins...

We went to the pumpkin patch today and got our Halloween pumpkins. The kids had a lot of fun. We did the corn maze and the three boys ate pumpkin ice cream. Maverick was screaming for more--he loved it!

Fall Fun

Life just doesn't seem to be slowing down for us! Last Saturday we all went apple picking (I will post pictures soon.) We all had a really great time! We are going to pick out our pumpkins on Sunday--that will be fun!

Maverick said his first real word yesterday--he said "nana" short for Banana, his very favorite thing to eat! He is now clapping his hands (IT'S SO CUTE!) He also does "so big"---when you ask him how big he is and you say so big he raises his hands up. He is having such a good time doing everything! He will be 11 mos old on Monday--hard to believe.

Phoenix is still loving school. He is quickly catching on to math and is grasping the basic concepts. He can't wait to read and is working very hard on it. Phoenix starts Hockey at the end of the month--so he's looking forward to that!

More later.

Exciting week!

We've had an exciting week! Last Friday Maverick cut his second tooth! He also had strawberries for the first time (the real berries--not just babyfood) and he broke out in a horrible rash. Daycare didn't bother to call me before Dana picked him up at 5--so off to the ER we went. We had no idea how serious the rash was. The ER doctor thought it was an allergic reaction to Strawberries---I think so too because the rash was gone the next day.

The weekend was good--Dana and I canned our tomoatos and made Chili Sauce. Glad that is done!

Phoenix is off to the airport with my mother today to pick up my grandmother back from a visit to my sister's in Alberta. Nichole came down with Gram, but has to fly back tomorrow. So my mom, gram and Phoenix are going to have dinner with Nichole. Phoenix was excited to go because Grammie and Aunt Nichole have presents for him.

Busy week

I'm back from Chicago--It's been a really busy week! I was attending a candy show. It was a great show--the highlight--Seeing Dale Earnhart, Jr! It was so cool to be so close to him--I have to admit that I was a bit star struck! He was at the show promoting his new candybar--Big Mo'. It will be available in stores in January 08.
The boys (all 3) missed me!

Here's a cute pic of Maverick. He's hugging the glo worm that Grammie bought him while peacefully sleeping!

Here's a picture of Phoenix from the race last Sunday in Loudon, NH.

That's all for now...more later.

Growing boys!

The boys are getting so big! Maverick is crawling so fast and cruising on every piece of furniture! He finally got his first tooth a few weeks ago--the count is still only at 1!

Phoenix is loving Kindergarten and is learning so much! He is working on learning his letter sounds and is very eager to learn to read.

This week is really crazy! We are off to the race on Sunday and I leave for Chicago on Monday (for work) until Wednesday! Tomorrow is the Northshire Day School tag sale. I somehow volunteered to help out with that! Should be fun anyway.

Wow--I actually created a BLOG

I just went to a seminar today on online customer opportunities. We discussed BLOGS, so I decided that I needed to have a better idea how these things are created!
