~Visiting Santa~

Maverick & Phoenix visited Santa at the Manchester VFW Christmas party last Saturday. Maverick didn't like Santa at first then ran over to give him a hug before he left.

This is us getting our Christmas tree. It was about 10 degrees that morning....brrrr!! Why does it always have to be so cold when we get our tree!
~MAVERICK TURNS 2~

This is Mavericks all time favorite present--EVER! Matt & Kelly gave him Curious George for his birthday. George (as we call him) hasn't left his side. George goes for a ride to school everyday and stays with Maverick. Right now George needs a bath...but I have to wait for Mav to get to sleep so George can take a dip in the washer!

OH MAVERICK! What a mess! This is Maverick enjoying his birthday cake!

This is Maverick with some of his friends at school enjoying the cupcakes mommy made for his birthday!

Maverick really loves the pumpkin
Here are all our pumpkins. We grew all of them in our garden this summer.

Trick or treating at Gram's & Pa's House
~The Wiggles~
I took Maverick to Albany today to see The Wiggles. He had a really great time. Wags (the dog) is his very favorite character.

This is Maverick's new "big boy" bed. We bought it for him for his birthday. He really likes it. The first night was a bit tough, but he's really gotten the hang of going to sleep in it.
Maverick is nothing but smiles the first time on his new bed!

FALL FUN

We took the boys up to the sugar woods today to have some fun in the leaves. We are very fortunate not to have many leaves on our lawn. It was a beautiful day and we took advantage of it. Maverick is getting so big and is talking so well and saying so many words! It's hard to believe that he is going to be 2 in a month! Phoenix is doing really well in first grade and starts Mites hockey next week. He can't wait.
More later...Michelle

OOPS...Phoenix's Turns 6!

Here are some pictures from Phoenix's kids birthday party. I completly forgot to post his b-day pics! The summer was super busy. The party was great and all the kids had fun!

Here are some pics from Phoenix's family party. It was a really good time! Phoenix had a Jeff Gordon birthday cake!

Below are pictures from Matt & Kelly's Wedding. Phoenix and Dana were both in the wedding. Don't they look handsome? (again--it's taken me a while to post these!)

There I am on Sunday (in 95 degree heat--not to mention HUMID) running in the Girls on the Run 5k in Burlington. For those of you who don't know--I have helped out a few times at Maple Street School with their program. It has helped me to get a much better idea of how the program works. I am going to start it next year in Danby. I'm so excited about it. This program teaches girls (grades 3-5) that they can accomplish anything if they work hard. It also teaches them about self esteem. A really great program! I ran the entire race with two girls from our group. They were really an inspiration. They took it seriously and gave it their best effort. I am so proud of them and all the girls who finished the race!
