~ EASTER 2008 ~
It was cold...but very sunny. We had a great day. The kids were excellent at church. They had Easter eggs hidden all over the church. Phoenix was the only child (other than Maverick) so he made out really well. Gram and Pa Merrow came over for Dinner--we had a nice time. Maverick is really starting to talk--he says uh oh, no, down, more, go, and many more words! He is really at a fun age and we are enjoying him so much. He's a clown just like Phoenix. They both have such a great time together.
We had Phoenix's parent-teacher conference last week. We are so proud of him! He got three 5's on his grade report--that means meeting expectations with honors. Those three areas are reading, math, and science. His scores have improved for "behavior." We are so proud of him--he's really maturing and loving to learn. Enjoy the pics!

I visited Phoenix's school on Wednesday for the Wednesday afternoon gathering--led by the kindergartner's. They have been reading Green Eggs and Ham--you know---"I do not like them Sam I am." So they each had to write a sentence about what they do not like and draw a picture. Phoenix got up to the microphone and said "I do not like it when I am pushed on the (playground) equipment." It was really cute--I'm glad that I went.
